We are a new technology oriented materials coating organization that for over twenty years has concentrated on the development of innovative techniques concerning various metal processes. ReactorFrom refining metals that date back to when the earth was formed to developing new coatings for distant future applications and requirements, we are always striving to remain ahead of the curve and expand the present day envelope of material science. Our abilities and knowledge have provided us the opportunity to be part of some of the most challenging and rewarding projects thought possible. We have processed materials from sub micron sizes to the world's largest single part. This was a reaction vessel two feet in diameter and eight feet in length that was to be plated with 5 mils of continuous pure platinum on the inside diameter.

We at Cerko Industries are die-hard perfectionists. The standard that is demanded by the semiconductor and medical industries is our standard also. By using only the most advanced equipment for control and manufacturing, as well as the most recent developments in electrochemistry and metallurgy (most developed by us) can we provide the level of parts that you demand and your customer will expect.

Plating Line As you can see the plating line is composed of self-contained tanks with no common walls to allow for possible cross contamination. All of the tanks are covered to minimize airborne contamination as well. The rectifiers are of laboratory grade generating a source of power with less than 0.01% ripple, which is necessary for proper plating to occur.

Even the smallest details are addressed. Our electrode racks are coated to prevent chemical contamination of the solution by any digestion of the copper conductor that happens over a period of time. By eliminating as many variables as is possible parts can be produced on a daily basis with only concentrating on one thing - producing quality parts all of the time.

The main area of concentration in the field of coatings that we apply is that of precious metals. These are gold, silver, iridium, palladium, platinum, rhodium, ruthenium, and osmium. We have coated parts from fractions of an inch to twelve feet in length. The coating line is equipped with an overhead crane enabling us to process parts weighing as much as 1,000 pounds. High Temperature Retort Furnace All of the solutions are filtered with 1 micron absolute filters ensuring the minimal amount of contamination. But our coating capabilities do not stop at the last tank. Further coating enhancements can be carried out with our intermetallic alloy forming equipment that allows us to form atomic bonds increasing the surface up to a Rockwell hardness of 70 on the C scale. All of these applications, combined with the sophisticated laboratory capability that we have at our command provides an environment conducive to excellence.
